Major Luxury Furniture Retailer

Objectives

Retailer was changing its brand positioning from the traditional category in an effort to reach younger affluent homeowners with its design service and new product lines. Goal was to build and reinforce awareness of the brand and its retail locations among potential new customers.

Strategy

Targeted affluent furniture consumers on a regional basis with full page advertising in renowned shelter publications featuring local store locations to drive consumers to the nearest retail outlets. In the stores, we captured the names, addresses, phone numbers, and email contact information of new customers. The message was reinforced by copies of the magazines placed in-store in beautifully designed large displays, including a pull-off pad and entry slot for a chance to win a free designer room. This built a customer list for follow up by phone, email, and mail for each local store.
