As the manager of media buying and planning with the account, media planning and finance teams, Katelyn plays a key role in researching, implementing and managing initiatives to deliver maximum ROI for imediagroup clients. With the understanding that research is a vital necessity in a constantly evolving media marketplace, she enables our clients to make informed decisions based on media trends and consumer behavior. Experienced in media research across a variety of industries, Katelyn brings particular expertise in digital media and broadcast navigation, including search engine optimization and TV rating estimates.
As a broadcasting market analyst, Katelyn has worked with such clients as Paramount, YUM brands, AT&T, Mattel, Energizer and Campbell’s. Among her responsibilities is optimizing media schedules to achieve the most effective and cost saving media plans for clients.
In the digital sphere, Katelyn performs a methodology review of key suppliers in the programmatic buying space, gaining insights into which technologies and services are available in the marketplace. Her work plays a vital role in successful new business presentations.
Prior to joining imediagroup, Katelyn spent seven years at GroupM, where she supervised a research team working with the buying and planning groups for MEC, Mediacom, Mindshare, Maxus and MetaVision, as well as the GroupM executive team. She joined the Group M team as an analyst on the National TV Research team, where she specialized in analyzing media trends and getting the full value from syndicated research sources.
Katelyn started her career at TeleRep, a Cox Media Group company that represents local TV stations across the country. Her responsibilities there included ratings analysis and research presentations.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Katelyn enjoys playing on beach volleyball and soccer teams as well as snowboarding with friends.
